Avatar To Become Top Grossing Film Of All-Time

Avatar now rules the world as the film set a new record at the international box office raking in a staggering $1.29 billion. Fox says by Monday the James Cameron block buster will smash the worldwide gross of $1.848 billion.
Avatar won the weekend box office for the 6th week in a row hauling in $36 million and will soon smash Titanics record $600.8 million domestic box office.
Here's a look at the weekend's top-grossing films:

The Lovely Bones centers on the murder and after life of a 14-year-old and shows the family left behind and their struggle to deal with their loss. New Zealand actress Rose McIver spoke exclusively with RadarOnline.com about being part of the award-winning cast directed by Peter Jackson.

“It’s been exciting,” Rose said about working with the cast. “It’s better than you imagine. Peter is so fantastic, down to earth.”
Rose plays Lindsey Salmon, the older sister of Susie who is murdered by their neighbor George Harvey, a role which has garnered Stanley Tucci a Golden Globe nomination. The 22-year-old had to play the sister at three different ages, and Rose said the way she was able to portray the ages drawing from her memories. “You remember the things you did and cared about at those ages, and that made it much easier.”
Mark Wahlberg Welcomes Baby Number Four
The most difficult scene to film for Rose was where she flees from Stanley Tucci. “There were so many takes and I had to be terrified for the scene and with the physical demands of the scene it was quite difficult.”
The movie does have comedic relief provided by Susan Sarandon as the grandmother who does everything with a cigarette and a cocktail in her hand. Rose gets a “make-over” from Susan in the film and said “I think she used about a dozen eggs in my hair, she just did whatever she wanted and it was quite fun.”

Mark Wahlberg and Rachel Weisz play the parents in the movie and Rose told RadarOnline.com “It was very flattering to play Mark’s daughter. I feel very lucky because of my family line in the movie.”

Long time Hollywood couple Susan Sarandon and Tim Robbins have broken up. The couple met while filming the movie Bull Durham and have two children together. Susan and Tim are famous for being a politically active couple and have been long time Democrats.
Although they’ve been together for many years and have children they never officially married.
Susan is currently starring in the Peter Jackson film The Lovely Bones as the drinking and smoking grandmother who tries to hold the family together after the murder of their teenage daughter.

On Thursday, Stanley Tucci dropped by to chat with the ladies of The View to promote his latest film The Lovely Bones. Following up on Tucci’s comment about how his wife Kate wanted him to turn down the part after reading the book (he plays the novel’s villain who has a penchant for raping and murdering young girls), Elisabeth Hasselback piped up and asked him if his wife had seen any of the movie.

However, Kate passed away in May from cancer. Trying to move on from the awkward moment, Tucci quickly responded “No” then looked to Barbara Walters and the other women to move on.
Shortly after the incident, Hasselback took to her Twitter page to explain the gaffe and the fallout.
“It was an honest mistake with stanley tucci today & i called him to apologize,” she wrote. “He forgave me (such grace)- if only i could forgive myself...”
