Brandon Flowers: Killers to Flamingo

One of America's most fantastic frontman has stepped out on his own. That's right, the Killers' Brandon Flowers, he of everything that glitters like his beloved hometown of Las Vegas, has released his first solo album, appropriately titled Flamingo.
Reportedly written as a Killers album before the band decided to take an extended hiatus, the album certainly will not disappoint fans of the band, which Flowers says plans to return next year.

The boys in Weezer are back with Hurley, which is said to be named after Jorge Garcia’s Lost character, Hugo “Hurley” Reyes. The actor reportedly said being featured on the cover of the album was a big honor, explaining, "Just coming from where I come from, it's extremely special and dear to my heart that this is actually happening." Hurley is being tagged as Weezer’s “punk” album, and is the first album they’ve released on an indie album after 16 years on a major label.
Sizzling Hot Band Fills Supermassive Hole On New Moon Soundtrack

Breakout English rockers Muse -- whose smash-hit single, Supermassive Black Hole, was featured on the soundtrack to Twilight -- will have a spot on the soundtrack for Twilight's sequel, New Moon, the band announced this week.
The band announced the good news as they embark on a national tour staring Thursday at Giants Stadium in New York, followed by shows at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland (Sept. 29) and Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, Virginia (Oct. 1).

Last night, New Yorkers got a delightful taste of Sin City when Las Vegas rockers the Killers hit Jones Beach for the second night of their US tour.
Under a full moon and starry sky, their stage featured palmettos and a wild lights show, flanked by water and permeated by salty sea air. Searchlights swirled and the opening music boomed, building anticipation as fans screamed for the band.
