Proud dad and granddad Jim Carrey has taken to his Twitter page to promote his daughter Jane's first rock show since giving birth to son Jackson Santana on February 27.

"The Jane Carrey Band brings the #BOING @ Dakota Lounge 5/15. 1st time back since birth of lil' Poptart," Jim Tweeted. Helpful dad that he is, Jim even directed fans to where they could buy tickets to gig.
At 47, Carrey is one of the youngest grandfathers in Hollywood. Daughter Jane, 22, is the lead singer for alternative rock band The Jane Carrey Band. The show will be at the Dakota Lounge in Santa Monica, CA.

Jim Carrey may only be 47, but he's already joining the ranks of one surprising group: grandparents. RadarOnline.com has confirmed that his daughter Jane Carrey gave birth to a baby boy on Friday.
She and husband Alex Santana welcomed their first child Jackson Riley Santana in Los Angeles.
