Sarah Palin isn't going down without a fight. Shortly after future ex son-in-law Levi Johnston went on The Early Show with more Palin family revelations, the former Alaskan governor went on attack.

"We have purposefully ignored the mean spirited, malicious and untrue attacks on our family," Palin said in a statement.

Johnston had claimed that Palin called her baby son Trig- who has Down syndrome- "retarded."
"We, like many, are appalled at the inflammatory statements being made or implied," Palin retorted. "Trig is our 'blessed little angel' who knows it and is lovingly called that every day of his life."
The former vice presidential candidate also took an easy swipe at Johnston's decision to pose nude in Playgirl.

"Consider the source of the most recent attention-getting lies," she said. "Those who would sell their body for money reflect a desperate need for attention and are likely to say and do anything for even more attention."

YouTube sensation Susan Boyle, despondent about her career after finishing second on Britain's Got Talent, wants out of the London mental health facility she is currently staying at and return to her native Scotland, her brother Gerry Boyle told the CBS Early Show Tuesday.
The 'I Dreamed A Dream' songstress "seems to be coming back to her old ways -- and she's fine," her brother said.

Levi Johnston the 19-year-old father of Sarah Palin's grandson Tripp, had pointed words for the former vice presidential candidate Wednesday on CBS's "The Early Show."
Johnston denied Palin's claims that he never lived at their house, as he said he stayed at the Palin house on such an extended basis that he actually kept his toiletries there. When asked if Palin was lying about his stay under her roof, Johnston nodded in agreement.
