Another Hollywood marriage bites the dust.

Actress Penelope Ann Miller -- who’s been enjoying a career resurgence, thanks to her role in The Artist -- is splitting from her husband of nearly 12 years.

Miller,  48, filed for legal separation on March 14 from James Huggins, citing irreconcilable differences, according to docs filed in the L.A. Superior Court.

The  couple -- who married in 2000 -- has two children together,  Eloisa, 11, and Maria, 2-and-a-half. Miller is seeking  sole legal and physical custody of their children, with Huggins receiving child visitation rights.

Miller was previously married to Up All Night star Will Arnett, although they filed for divorce after less than a month  of marriage.

The Artist was the big winner at the 84th Academy Awards at Hollywood's Kodak Theater Sunday, as the silent film won five awards, most notably Best Picture, Best Director for Michel Hazanavicius, and Best Actor for leading man Jean Dujardin.

"I love your country," Dujardin, the first native of France to ever win the award, said after his Excalibur moment. "So many of you here tonight have inspired me."

Leading man and predicted Best Actor winner George Clooney had the biggest upset of the night at the 2012 Academy Awards when French actor Jean Dujardin won the Oscar statue.

"I love your country," Dujardin gushed on stage following his win, which was presented by the stunning Natalie Portman, the winner for Best Actress in a Leading Role from the previous year for her role in Black Swan

"So many of you here have inspired me," Dujardin said clutching his gold statue. "Thank you Michel, thank you for this incredible gift..thank you for my wonderful partner Bernice."

It was a French Revolution!
