SteelSeries Kinzu: The Mouse You Want In Your House

SteelSeries' new Kinzu mouse has gotten smaller and more powerful, a complementary tool for gamers seeking pinpoint precision for all their computer and gaming needs.

The Kinzu's optical sensor is capable of processing an amazingly fast and efficient 9,375 frames-per-second at up to 3,200 CPI; the polling rate can be adjusted between 125 and 1000hz with a millisecond in response time. According to SteelSeries, the optical sensor works at speeds of up to 50 inches per-second, and 20G of acceleration. The mouse is ambidextrous, so anyone can use it to enhance their full performance.

Gamers' opinions might differ wildly on consoles and titles, but can agree on one thing: for pinpoint accuracy, the SteelSeries' mouse brings the cheese like no other.

Twenty-five years ago, a short, pudgy plumber named Mario risked life and limb to save Princess Toadstool from the boorish king of the Koopas, Bowser. Countless rescue missions later, the princess is still alive and well, and Super Mario Bros continues its legacy as one of the most iconic games in the home console era.

On Thursday, a huge gala held at New York's Nintendo World Store, featuring big names in the social and entertainment fields, celebrated the past 25 years of Mario, and the future as well, as the brand new Super Mario Bros. for the Wii is about to hit shelves.

Celebs in attendance at the star-studded bash included socialite Tinsley Mortimer; Real Housewives stunner Kelly Kiloren Bensimon; American Boy singer Estelle; ex-Judas Priest front-man Rob Halford; 30 Rock star Scott Adist, and Nigel Barker, amongst others.

The new Super Mario Bros. game features a multi-player mode, in which players can navigate though levels, with the option to invite up to three others for competitive and cooperative good times; the must-have game for this holiday season hits stores Nov. 15.

Out now for Xbox 360, the video game adaptation of the Maurice Sendak classic is a role-playing jubilee, casting gamers in the role of the film's mischievous protagonist, Max.

In it, Max, adventures his way through a dangerous 3-D island, befriending each of the the specially-talented Wild Things on his journey, where rough terrain, challenging obstacles and scary creatures are all par for the course.

In addition, there is the Wild Thing village, a diversion of of mini-games and character interactions based on the book and film.
